Expenditure
There are a number of different costs you must meet to keep your club running:
- Ground maintenance
- Player wages
- Overdraft interest
- Miscellaneous costs
- Staff costs
- Youth Academy costs
It is vital that you try not to spend unnecessarily in any of these areas - every dollar is hard to earn and easy to spend!
| Ground maintenance | Don't build too big too fast. |
| Player wages | High wages can kill your club completely. |
| Overdraft interest | Don't drop below $0, ever. |
| Miscellaneous costs | Don't buy players you don't need. 5% tax payable on every player sale. |
| Staff costs | Don't hire too many. Don't hire and fire unnecessarily. Newer clubs don't need many! |
| Youth Academy | Don't start this in your first season or two. |
