Wages

What are player wages?
Wages are the costs you pay to keep a player in your team. Wages are paid weekly.
Wages are reassessed at the commencement of each new season to consider changes in skill levels through training/skill decay.
Be careful with your total wage bill - if your wages are too high, you may have to sell a player or two to survive!

These are approximate starting wages for players with these primary skill levels (does not consider secondaries):

The wage formula (primary skills only) is :
(n-3) cubed x (n-1) + 250 = wage
where n is the skill rating i.e mediocre=5, competent=6, etc.

Secondary skills

Secondary skills (concentration and consistency) add to the wages, but not as much as primary skills like batting and bowling.

The wage formula (secondary skills) is :
0.05 * ((n*0.67) - 0.33) ^5 = wage
where n is the skill rating i.e mediocre=5, competent=6, etc.
